Regular Pattern of Worship

There are two or three services at Holy Angels each Sunday as well as a weekday said Communion Service at 10:00 am every Wednesday. There are a variety of styles of services to cater for all ages. Everybody is welcome at all our services. Below is a table setting out the monthy pattern of services and brief description of each service but the best way to discover what it is like is to come along and see!

8am Holy Communion

This is a quiet, said service, following the BCP liturgy. These service takes place in the Lady Chapel and last around 45 minutes

 

10am Parish Communion with Sunday School

On these weeks everybody starts in church, then the children go out to Sunday school and rejoin the service for Communion. these services follow Common Worship Order One. There is usually a robed choir. These services last about one hour.

 

10am Family Service

These are lively interactive services for all ages. Music is usually on the Keyboard rather than organ and the Junior choir often help to lead the singing. These services last about 45 minutes.

 

11:15 Holy Communion

These are Common Worship Order One services. There is usually a robed choir. There is no Sunday school at these services. These services last about one hour.
